Barcelona: What I Witnessed On The Streets During The General Strike
Today I witnessed thousands of Catalans protest on the streets of Barcelona. There was much anger at the police violence on Sunday. Today that anger did not turn to violence. It was a protest of solidarity. I am mostly ignorant of the issues here; a relative newcomer to Barcelona and Spain. I doubt the clock can be rewound; Sunday cannot be undone. Whatever the future holds; it is time for wise men and women to prevail. I have seen first hand what happens when they don't.
